These messages are marvellous.  Since I'm so far away,  they fill the gap for me.  Also, since I'm probably going to be the oldest(next to Marlene)  on the golf course, let me explain some of the very basic rules of the game of golf played on a " golf course".  The concept is to hit, using a club, stick, device, etc. a small ball(usually white)  along a designed path or fairway to a landing place (for a ball, and not an airplane, OK John???Cliff????) called a green.  The green is very smooth and you must not do anything to disturb the beautiful flat, smooth beautifully manicured, surface.  The idea is to have a nice smooth surface so you can "tap"  and roll the ball into a 3"  dia.  hole placed somewhere on the green's surface.  It is usually marked with a flag pole sitting in the hole.  After you hit your ball onto the green, you can putt it into the hole to score.  The number of times you hit(or attempted to hit) your ball into the hole, is the score you count for each hole.
You start the process by "setting" your ball onto a small support (a Tee) and then swinging your club to hit the ball into the direction of the green and the hole marked by the flag pole. The idea is to do this with as FEW tries as possible (stroke)  The persons who does this process for all nine holes with the fewest number of strokes, WINS.
There, you have the basic concept of the game.  If  you wish to have more of this B. S.  on how to play, let me know. heh.
Some rules,
1. If you hit your ball at someone, it is proper to yell  'FORE'  and not say fu--k under your breath.
2. It is courteous to allow the person furthers from the hole to putt out first.  (and shut your mouth while he/she is putting)
3. If your club digs a trench like the Welland Canal, and the ball goes nowhere, replace the "divot" and count a stroke.
(Usually happens when you try too hard to emulate John Daley or Tiger Woods)
4. Try to play the ball from where it landed. (sand trap, the forest, the lake or pond) ha."get help here"

More to come if you want it.  ha.   Love.... Donnie....

Sounds like you know as much about "golf Shooting" as I do Aud. Ha. I will
bring the First Aid Kit for all the head injuries or maybe just set up a
mobile First Aid station for all the other golfers out there. Ha
