Hm. I don't think you want to run win2k on a P2-
266.  Well, you can take some comfort in that you 
are at least running the second edition of windows98 
(aka windows99), which has quite a number of bug 
fixes in it.

I was thinking that if you had high speed internet, 
you could d/l Win2k from me, but it wouldn't work 
over dialup (take too long, and not reliable 
connection).  BTW, if your high speed internet was 
to be Bell Sympatico DSL, plan on waiting a long, 
long while.  Sympatico hasn't rolled out a single 
new DSL access point in over a year.  They've frozen 
all DSL rollout until they start recouping some of 
their losses in the original investment.

fortunately, some cable providers are still 
expanding (my cable modem from Cogeco comes in next 
Thursday).
