Yeah, I agree. Even as technology worker, I still can't see how they spent $500 million on technology and consulting. I can't even fathom that much money on a single project.
We were a software startup, and had at one point, around 250 employees, state of the art computers, and a very generous and hefty payroll. Perks like free catered meals, 3 times a day, nice facilities, and other goodies. Even with all that spending, we still only managed to burn through 70 million US in 2.5 years. How they did $500 million CDN in the same amount of time is beyond me.
