Hello,
Just to let folks know that we are back home safe and sound. The trip home
was easier and faster than the trip out. Got home in 3 days, almost 2,
except for a T-storm line that stretched from Sault Ste Marie to Sudbury,
so spent the night in Wawa. The flight out took 22.5 hours of flying, trip
home 18.5 hours. Amazing how much difference a strong tail wind makes on a
long trip.
I wrote a lengthy, detailed message the day before we left, but
unfortunately it is hidden in the bowels of Alan's computer somewhere, and
we couldn't find it!!! Haven't had a chance to redo it. Now I am busy
paying bills, deadheading the garden, returning phone calls, emails, and
all that fun stuff that needs dealing with after being away 4 weeks.
We had a great holiday, with perfectly wonderful weather, and lots of
things to see and do, as well as spend time with Alan when he had any free
time. It is a great and beautiful country we live in.
Will be in touch as the dust settles and we get used to being out of the
clouds (literally and figuratively)
