        Basically, hubs share their bandwidth -- if you've got lots of
machines sending info to each other, they've got to share the hub; more
connections, the slower for everyone.  A switch basically gives each pair
of connected machines the full bandwidth -- you can have a bunch of traffic
at once, and no pair of connected machines has a speed hit.

        Hm, that's an interesting concept, information for trade.  Sorry if
you don't find what you expect; people here are likely to share info here
with no expectation of anything in return.  ;)
