As I recall a recent tranfer from my Performa 6300 to my Powerbook G3/333, your dialogue box estimate is in the right ball park. I suspect the choke point is in the bus speed of my old 6300 and your dock. If I make some rough calculations correctly, it would take 27 minutes to tranfer a 2GB file over a 10Mbps Ethernet at 100 percent efficiency.
