Hi everyone,

I'm new to this list, and was hoping to lurk for awhile before posting, but
it's just too darn quiet for lurking!

I maintain a school network of about 30 Macs. Half are iMacs, the rest are
PPC Performas of one kind or another. Everything is on an ethernet network.

Eight of the iMacs are running OS 9.x, and consequently, Multiple Users.
I'm running At Ease for Workgroups (3.x) on everything else. Adminstration
of the At Ease machines is tolerable; the Multiple Users machines are
bordering on nightmare, as I have to configure each user manually.

My question is this: What is Macintosh Manager (presumably for network
administration)? The only reference to it is in the Multiple Users control
panel. I cannot find any reference to it on the Internet, nor on Apple's
web site, nor on CD's.

Also, is there any product out there that even comes close to the
admistrative power of At Ease, and runs on Systems 7.5.5 through 9.x?

Thanks,
Doug
