I hope I can ask this question with _some_ intelligence. We have a web host that provides unlimited email accounts (WEB2010) and forwarding. Up to now, we've had dialup access, and I download all email sent to various email addresses that are forwarded to the account with our ISP or that I access directly to the POP server of WEB2010. With them, I think I can have up to 20? POP accounts.
We're going to install a cable modem. With this service, I'll have 3 accounts. I have a SMC router already, waiting for the cable. We're a mixed network of PC's and Macs. I want to run an email server and internal web site for the intranet. For right now, I'm considering SIMS or EIMS as the email server, and Quid Pro Quo as a web server, running them on a low end Mac. OK, so where can I learn about how to setup the email server for handling internal email, and configuring the various email client software? Is there some good documentation available?
