I have an Asante router. My external USRobotics is connected to the router.
The 8500G3, Q950, 9600/350, AMD 500, Dell PIII 600r, and 7100 are hooked up
to a d-link switch. The switch is uplinked to the router.

The 8500 has an external GV 56K V90 hooked up to the modem port. Have
whatever modem you choose selected in the modem control panel. When you
want to fax, just do it.

I don't understand, but, the router doesn't need a driver for any
particular modem. The computer doesn't need to be configured for the
router's modem as the router is handling the connection.

I've already done this on my machine, pretty cool!
