I recently got DSL service and was hoping someone could answer a few questions or else point me where to look on the web. I have several macs connected to a hub and would like to connect a router to this so all macs can share the internet connection. I connected the dsl modem to the router and then the router to the hub. I then connected to the internet but the speed was very slow and often timed out looking for web sites. When I only use the modem with one computer the connection is great. Are there some networking settings I need to tweak? Also is there a network connection/troubleshooting utility available?
I should mention I'm running OS9.1, DSL modem to a Netgear router to a 10BT hub. Thanks, Andy Andy ____________ "We don't like their sound, and guitar music is on the way out."
