Hi, We had a storm the other night. Now my imac modem does not work? I checked the modem with 'TechTool Pro' and everything checked out OK, even the dial tone, but being able to check the line noise etc FAILS.....it could not communicate for some reason.
Everytime I try to connect with the iMac modem, my phone lines stop working for the phones(the line goes dead)...I have to unplug the modem from the phone line and my phones work again. Does anyone have any help....tips, websites, downloads to check the modem?? Is there a reset button for the modem?? Does anyone know of a site that has pictures of how to replace the modem?
