I know, it's ridiculous, isn't it? I mean, the telephone company doesn't
want to charge you per telephone... they know that if you have service,
you're going to split the line to several phones! Same with cable TV! Some
broadband ISPs nominally have this policy of you having to be a corporate
customer to have a LAN but they don't really care; and the best ones have
static IPs in this situation.

My rant-o-the-day...
