        Get used to it.  Web server logs get flooded with such 
things, both malicious attempts as well as indirectly-malicious 
attempts -- that is, folks with (usually Windoze) computers that have 
been infected by a worm that scans IP addresses for other vulnerable 
computers.  In this case it isn't necessarily somebody *with* a pc, 
but somebody (or a virus/worm) that's looking *for* a vulnerable pc.

        Probably much more important than watching what comes 
knocking at your door is keeping track of any security updates in the 
server software that you're running, and don't run services that you 
don't use -- that way you won't have so many things to look after.
