Hi everyone. I'm having trouble getting all the different parts of my network to work together. The main problem is centered around my Asant Ethernet to LocalTalk bridge. I have a 4 port 10BaseT NetGear hub which has connections from my computer (Beige G3 running OS X), internet connection, Newton 2100, and my LocalTalk bridge. Hooked up to the LocalTalk bridge via AppleTalk connectors is a LaserWriter IIf.
The LaserWriter used to be a IINT, but since it was incompatible with OS X I decided to upgrade. Formerly, in the OS X print center I could see the IINT on the network (via the LocalTalk bridge) but printing obviously didn't work. Since changing boards I cannot get the printer to show up in print center. I do not know if I have the push-button setting correct. In the manual I downloaded it said that 0-4 were for LocalTalk but I have tried all the switches and it does not work. I have printed to the printer using my Duo 280c via AppleTalk connectors, so I know the printer does work. Any help would be appreciated.
