Our home network has 2 iMacs, a PC- all sharing a DSL connection through
an asante router- and 1 USB laser printer (connected to one of the
iMacs). The second iMac can print via USB printer share. The Macs run OS
9 and the PC runs W98.

Question 1: If we were to install OS X on the iMacs and connected the
USB printer to the PC, would the iMacs be able to print to the laser
printer, just using OS X networking and without getting involved with
anymore software? (Yes there are both OS X and W98 drivers for this
printer.)

Question 2: Would one of the Macs be able to access the Palm Desktop
data on the PC? (All computers have Palm Desktop installed.)

TIA for any assistance,
Lorri
