I, too, have been under the impression that the DSL/CableModem routers/switches/... on the market do not support dial-up connections, much less share them, so I'm a bit perked to think that I can debug a home network *without* getting DSL or CableModem. :) Though, Earthlink's offering 6 months for $30/month, "for a limited time," of course.
