I've acquired a Super Stacker II Hub 10,a DSI ExpressnetWorkgroup Hub and a David Systems Expressnet 5 slot Concentrator. All of the above are a little old although I am not certain when they were manufactured.
My question is: there is a Management port on each and I was wondering if anyone knew what goes to it. The ports accept a RJ 45 cable. I am also using a SMC Barricade (4 port)and a Zyxel DSL modem from Earthlink. Do I use one of the 4 ports on the router to connect to the management input? Lastly, is the David Systems' 5 slot "Concentrator" just a fancy word for a hub? Thanks all. Kim -- MacNetwork is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
