yes, a friend of mine has done just that. you can do it via hardware or software on each end or a mix of the two. there's good info at <www.netgear.com>, specifically a paper on it in pdf format that explains all the basics in a non-brand-centric way. there's allot of info out there if you do a google search, that's how i found the info several months ago.
