I have an imac DV400 and an ibook 600, so it looks like I must use an Airport card for wireless connectivity. Will the Airport card only work with an Airport base station, or will it play nicely with any base station that is either 802.11b or 802.11g compliant? My head is spinning after a walk through CompUsa, where I found a nice combination DSL router/4 port switch/802.11g wireless base station.
