Well, I am using the automatic feature in the admin utility to set the
frequency.

As luck would have it, since writing the original message, I went to my
local Apple store and bought a "Buyer's Remorse" return unit, completely
unused but opened for $124.95 instead of $199.95. So I have upgraded to an
Extreme base station and can now wait for a second inexpensive unit and make
the whole matter more palatable!

The new base station seems to be a better signal, but if I add a second base
I will definitely solve my problems.

Thanks for the response,

Geoff Rosenberg
