I want to setup network accessible address directories. If any of you are familiar with Exchange servers generally companies have contact or address lists available to every client computer on their network. So you open your address book and you have a list of all employees and such but you never have to enter them, they are just provided from the server.
Well, you can do the same thing using OpenSource tools such as LDAP and Mac OS X's AddressBook can connect to LDAP servers providing such directories. However, I don't know how to set it up or where I can find any documentation on it.
Anyone know what I am talking about and be able to point me in a direction?
Thanks,
David
