is there anyway to share one dial up connection between multiple
networked computers at the same time. My wife insists on living in the
boonies 12 miles from central office. i would like to set up web server
at house, and share with different stages of Macs and pc. As i add cpus
i don't want to keep adding modems, i already have 8 fighting for the
line now. right now i tell ppp to log in if tcp/ip needs it, with redial
set 10-20 times at 900 second intervals and i set inactivity shut down
to 5 minutes to free up line.
if you want to know why, i'm running seti.
