You will need an AirPort card installed in both Macs.
Then you come out of the DSL modem into the eMac.
You open up System Preferences and go to Sharing, in the Sharing pane you select internet and set the pull down menu to Ethernet, then select AirPort by checking the appropriate box in the lower left hand pane. Finally click start.
On your iBook choose to join AirPort network.
