Hello group,
I've Googled and Yahoo'd myself to frustration on an issue where I can't find common sufferers:

My wireless network at home (standard "b" base station, 1st generation airport card, ibook 800 G3, OS 10.4) Using Safari, Explorer, Firefox, and virtually every other Mac compatible network. Sometimes, actually almost all the time, the network refuses to send me to ebay pages that require a search or a sign in... Just click a link browsing works OK; but if I bring my ibook to the DSL modem and hook the ethernet cable directly to the ibook, the problem disappears. So, I feel the problem is located in the apple hardware or software, since a hard-wired cable-to-ibook will connect to all pages.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

I actually found several people on the google searches who had this type of problem, but they were all using PCs, and they weren't getting good help for making it go away either.

Theories, hunches, suggestions, rants and idle speculation all welcome!

Sid B
