Hello. New to the list. Just subscribed today. Have a G5 iMac
networked to a G3 Dual-USB iBook and a G4 iBook via a Linksys wired router
and a Graphite ABS.
I also network, via virtual network connections, with a pal in GA and
in-laws in both NE and AZ; they use Apple Remote Desktop and I use either
Chicken of the VNC or VNCThing or VNCDimension.
Can anyone point me towards a URL that would have an explanation of what
things like Ping, Traceroute, and Port Scan are all about?
