I just bought an Orinoco card for my Wallstreet. Haven't really been able properly to test it yet, since I've no WAN.
You can at least plug it in and activate it in the Airport program then verify it is available in AppleTalk and TCP/IP Control Panels.
Next step: buy a wireless station. The Airport looks great, the first one, the Graphite, would be enough for me. The question is: is it really compatible with the Orinoco PCMCIA card in my Wallstreet, and can OS 9.1 control the Airport's modem through the Orinoco?
The Orinoco card will function just like an Airport card under OS 9. So it should certainly allow you to control the Base Station.
I really know next to nothing about wireless - and what I once knew I seem to have forgotten.
The graphite Base Stations are going on e-Bay for about $60-70 (but don't buy one yet, I'm still trying to get a good price on one). ;-)
