Hi R. A. The only ones that I know about working with Macs are the (FCC ID #) PD5LMWP100 This is the Proxim Skyline Model 473a, and the MXF-WL211F which is the Faralon Skyline Model 473. Their is also a corosponding product with a PCI carrier marketed as Model 476, 476A and 476 BLD. All 5 of these use the same software. Their is a third type which supported an older standard, it is idendified by 3 leds on the card (Farallon model 472). Is this what you have? I dont have a FCC ID # for this one. Software for this older card is not available. This older card was a 2mb instead of 11mb card. To update the flash ROM in the card, download the v3 of software from the links on my FAQ and while running OS9, install v3 of the software, and then run the updater. I have posted disk images of the cd that came with the cards I purchased, the updater is NOT on these disk images. You will need to download the software from Proxim web site to get a copy with the ROM updater. Proxim requires registration before use. No need to turn off Ethernet.
