I will file an enhancement request. But that won’t happen for a while and my code is happening now.
I only need a few simple requests. I should be able to find the right interface, bind to a socket and send my requests that way…unless there is something I don’t know which would stop that from working. My recommendation here is that you file an enhancement request for this feature, explaining why your HTTP request needs to run over WWAN. <https://developer.apple.com/bug-reporting/> Please post your bug number, just for the record. There really isn’t a great workaround here. If you only need to deal with very simple requests, you can build a bone-headed HTTP 1.1 client on top of Network framework (or other, older APIs), which lets your force WWAN. If you need a full-featured HTTP client, the only option I can see is to write (or acquire) your own HTTP library )-: Share and Enjoy -- Quinn "The Eskimo!" <http://www.apple.com/developer/> Apple Developer Relations, Developer Technical Support, Core OS/Hardware _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
