Jobs Talks Rendezvous, Jaguar at Paris Expo

No new hardware or software upgrades. MWNY redux.
In his keynote at the Apple Expo Paris, CEO Steve Jobs made no new hardware
announcements, as expected.
Instead, Jobs focused upon the new features in Jaguar (OS X 10.2), as well as Apple''s
new Rendezvous technology, previewed at MacWorld New York in July. Jobs emphasized the
importance of Rendezvous and its importance in developing completely wireless networks.
Xerox and Canon have announced support for Rendezvous technology, joining HP, Lexmark
and Epson, who got on board at MWNY. The Expo also linked to a presentation from
electronics giant Phillips, which said it would introduce Rendezvous-compatible
products next year
