Apple Store for Business quietly opened

This virtual online shop offers deals designed to tempt business buyers
Apple has quietly opened the online Apple Store for Business. This webpage is actually
an extension of the company's Hot Deals and Apple Store sites.
Featured deals include: the 15-inch Flat Panel iMac with an additional 128MB of RAM
and M$ Office v.X (save $335.95*) for $1,438; PowerBook G4 667MHz with an additional
256MB of RAM and M$ Office v.X (save $410.95*) for $2,738; and Power Mac G4 Dual 1GHz
plus 256MB RAM, 15-inch LCD Cinema Display and M$ Office v.X (save $760.95*) for
$3,437.00.
Clicking the "Buy Now" button for any of these offerings leads to an ordinary Apple
Store webpage and not a specific "business" site.
* Apparently, the savings listed are based on suggested retail prices and not reality
(i.e. Office is already available with any new Mac for $199 and RAM from Apple is
priced criminally high).
Editor's note: This move is long overdue. Although Apple probably has people dedicated
to corporate and small business customers (you never hear of such), it hasn't until
now had a dedicated site and/or channel for these customers. They need to do even more.
