Bias Updates Peak DV, VST
By Remy Davison, Insanely Great Mac
October 31st 2002

Pro audio application bumped to version 3.11.

Bias Inc, the developer of Mac pro audio applications, such as Peak and Deck, have
updated both the DV and VST versions of Peak to 3.11.

Peak is a professional-standard two-track music editor, which imports and exports a
wide variety of formats and plug-in effects. It also supports a large range of
external audio equipment. Peak DV is bundled with Apple's Final Cut Pro. Peak 3.1 and
later support AAC audio and Quicktime 6.0

Both versions of Peak run natively in OS X, as well as OS 9, and both take advantage
of the G4 CPUs. Peak LE, the edition bundled with applications such as Toast-with-Jam,
has not received an update on this occasion.

Peak 3.11 is a maintenance release. Older, 2.x verions of Peak also have updates
available on line. A number of downloadable demos are also available.
