Share your mp3s with friends or tune in an exclusive broadcast in your car

CenDyne has announced the immediate availability of Gruv-X (product page not yet
available), a tiny audio transmitter that beams the music on a MP3 player or portable
CD player to a nearby home or car FM radio. The Gruv-X is perfect for use with the
Apple's iPod or any other MP3 player or CD player on the market.

"Priced at less than $30, the Gruv-X is a great add-on gift for anyone that bought or
received an MP3 player or other portable music player over the holidays," said Ed
Meadows, president. "The Gruv-X extends the power of an MP3 player for a truly
portable music experience. Just plug it into the headphone jack, tune the stereo, and
enjoy sharing the music."

The device works by sending a signal to a nearby FM radio over an open station to
deliver crystal-clear playback of customized MP3, MP3PRO or WMA file music
compilations from an MP3 player, or music from a CD or tape on a portable music
player. With the Gruv-X, anyone can listen to their favorite tunes without having to
wear a headset -- a great idea for people driving in a car. Also, music lovers can
share their favorite tunes with family and friends by bringing along their MP3 player
and Gruv-X, and simply tuning in a nearby radio.

Gruv-X is currently available at for $29.99 (SRP).

Editor's note: Little things like this make the world a smaller and, thereupon, more
intimate place, and how bad can that be? Unless you live in Bangladesh, or Calcutta,
of course...
