iLife: Hold your horses

Apparently Apple's repackaged bundle of iApps has been delayed
MacNN reports (Jan 22) that Apple may have delayed the release of iLife due to
problems with the Golden Master of the iLife CD. The $50 package, which is to include
iMovie 3, iPhoto 2, iTunes 2 and iDVD 3, according to unnamed sources, will not be
available for sale as anticipated on Saturday, Jan as previously announced.
However, MacNN reports that unreleased components, iDVD aside, will released as free
downloads as announced. iMovie 3 and iPhoto 2 could be available via the Internet for
download. iTunes 3 has been available as a free download since last Fall.
Quoting unnamed readers, the digital daily says new Apple Store orders are quoting 5
to 7 days as the estimated ship date. One reader has said that his order is expected
to ship on Jan 30.
