Nope . . .I highlighted the text below and hit reply . . .and the insertion
point was at the top. I guess with a limited quote one could easily scroll down
. . .but just typing at the insertion point results in top posting (unless
there's some preference I missed but I didn't see one when I looked) . . .the
iPhone does exactly the same thing. Same results if I just hit reply with
nothing highlighted. As I said though . . .I've never understood the fervor
some people have for this . . .I can keep up with threads either way and
personally would rather not have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the
new stuff. All this "you're supposed to put your text at the bottom" is just
personal preference. I googled it and while there are articles claiming that
it's intuitively obvious that top posting is bad and that usenet rules require
bottom posting . . .there really aren't any rules other than what a particular
list/group admin enforces . . .and there are just as many urls that claim top
posting is better and that (since Mail and iPhone do it by default) . . .just
deal with it.

There are only three kinds of stress; your basic nuclear stress, cooking
stress, and A$$hole stress. The key to their relationship is Jello.
