Thus my comment regarding the decaying level of competence in IT. I work with up and comers all the time. Most of them are intelligent enough to know you need to go with the flow and then present ideas in a way that doesn't ruffle the feathers of those who may toss your resume in the trash should you approach them for a job. You meet the same people on the way up that you meet on the way down.
