We have the same strange behaviour with one iMac 27" (latest i5 MacIntel model)
running 10.6.4 and mounting a shared AFP volume from a MacOSX server 10.4.11.
Strangely enough, only one specific folder from the mounted volume is showing
the blinking content artefact.
Sometimes, it's also impossible to get the detailed list view of this folder's
content.
Trashing all the finder and appleshare prefs files doesn't cure the problem.

Opening a different session with a different user name on the same machine does
not show the same trouble while accessing the same AFP volume...

Any clue about this very annoying problem would be appreciated.
