Hi all,
I am trying to integrate a MacOSX 10.6 machine (client) into a Solaris
environment (server) via NIS and NFS. NIS works like a charm, NFS
works somehow with
mount -t nfs <solaris server ip>:/home /home
We actually do that by providing an entry in DiskUtility.app or right
now in Marcel Bresinks NFS Manager.app. I can login as a normal (NIS)
user and everything seems fine. But as soon as I start Mail.app or
Address Book.app or ... these apps hang and I get "broke stale
lock ..." messages on the console. :-(
I already tried to disable NFS locks for this mount in the advanced
settings pane of NFS Manager.app but this did not help! :-(
Any idea? Hints are greatly appreciated!
