I've not had much joy with ff 4. I've found that it takes it significantly longer than past versions to restore saved tabs as they'll just sit around "connecting". But also of interest is if you inspect ff 4 with activity monitor you'll see it's using the chromium core now and, since chrome doesn't have this nor any of the issues you all mentioned, I figured there wasn't much reason to keep using ff so I made the switch to chrome. Haven't looked back since.
