I am running Lion on several macs and have installed ARD app 3.5 and the
clients are 3.5.1

So far:

The Copy command fails and I find in the system log file:

Jul 29 16:38:00 mbp ARDAgent[291]: legacy packet not allowed 111 from 127.0.0.1
Jul 29 16:38:17: --- last message repeated 9 times ---
Jul 29 16:38:17 mbp Remote Desktop[6722]: SendMessageToAgentWithReply:
gCmdReplyPtr->cmdResult contained error code -6404
Jul 29 16:38:17 mbp Remote Desktop[6722]: SendPacketWithReply error -6404
Jul 29 16:38:17 mbp Remote Desktop[6722]: Failed in SendPacketWithReply for
kCmdFT2_AdminToSender with packet sub-command kFT2_AdminSendInfo. Error: -6404

The get report command waits forever.

Virtual Screens behave badly:
They can't be invoked from the Admin app. Gotta use the connect to server
command
   in the Finder menu.

Connecting to mac clients from iPad or Linux VNC's is tricky ( with Virtual
Screens ).
I have to *immediately* start typing the password as soon as the password
field appears
or the target systems quit accepting input.

ARD is basically useless to me.

Does anyone else have these problems? Are there any workarounds?

Jerry
