Let's say I am authenticating a OSX 10.7 box against MIT Kerberos (throw openldap in the mix for good measure) using rfc2307. If i am using portable home directories, I have two passwords: a local and a kerberos one. When I go to System Preferences->Accounts and change my password there, does it change only the local or the kerberos password also? If so, what if you are not connected to the network when you change the password? When it is back into the network, will it then update the kerberos one?
