That's a good point. The iPad has huge potential for apps on a 10" screen using multi-touch. People now send emails on the move from their phones (hardly a big deal, why not wait until you sit down and reach for your laptop?) The iPad is just another way to do stuff walking about indoors, be it the office, or the home, or sitting on a cramped seat travelling. Yeah, you could get your laptop out, but this is a bit lighter, easier to hold, no flippy down keyboard in the way. It is a small convenience, but so is emailing whilst waiting for coffee.
