Does anybody know, what that log entry mean:
Feb 12 19:14:45 myMini kernel[0]: { 41 810400}
UniNEnet::restartReceiver
I have a lot of them in system.log.
Is that something I should take care of?
so that's a G4 mini running 10.5.8, right? not that details matter
when asking such a question ...
i've seen it on my G5 iMac, and apparently it is only on PowerPC and
has to do with the wired ethernet port plus possibly Time Machine
and/or Spotlight; you'll find a few threads on discussions.apple.com
about it, but no resolution; i haven't seen anything to suggest it
is harmful
Right, and I'll do my mea culpa for having forgotten the specs...:-)
Thanks anyway for the hint, it's good to know it does no harm,
although the frequency of checking may affect computer's speed (my
Mini is not Speedy Gonzales)
