Hi all, I regularly use the slrn newsreader, which runs in a Terminal window. I created a Terminal preset to open a big window and run slrn, and I saved this as a *.terminal file by going to Shell > Export Settings. Opening this file opens Terminal and launches slrn as expected, but it also adds the slrn settings as another preset. The upshot is that, after opening slrn this way a dozen times, my Shell > New Window menu contains the original “slrn” item as well as “slrn 1” through “slrn 12”, the presets that were added each time I opened the .terminal file.
This behavior isn’t destructive or anything, but it is annoying. Is there a better way to create a double-clickable launcher for a command-line program? Thanks, -- Benjamin D.
