I did not look at GPartEd.
And now I have. GPartEd cannot grow a HFS+ partition.
Use iPartition. iPartition can do that all, shrink, enlarge change
more or less whatever you want, on nearly all necessary formats. Only
restriciton: not the startup disk (logic....)
For me an absolute must, an indispensable tool, I install on all hard
disks (external and internal ones) several volumes of different sizes
and formats, for software, documents, different startups and..and..and
