I never bought a PPC mini but have bought 3 intel minis (each a different gen), 2 of which were refurbs. Best deal out there when they are available. My original (1.6 Core Duo) I took to Japan and we gave it to my MIL, who had never used the internet before. Now she cannot live without it.
