Updates are a pain in the ass. Sparkle, AppFresh, and other update
notification methods help, but it's still a hassle to start a program
and receive a prompt to upgrade. A centralized software manager is a
good idea, especially for the average user. Plus, the really old way
means checking websites and comparing version numbers. Everyone has
better things to do than worry about software versions.

The killer feature for me would be if there was a setting to
automatically upgrade apps when they aren't being used. And prompt to
upgrade if the app has been out of date for some period of time.
