FWIW I live in Seattle and haven't had an issue with AT&T service between here 
and Port Angeles, and even had service in areas far more remote (in the general 
vicinity of Kalaloch, for example). I think it depends on the day, the weather, 
the pattern of the stars, and how much mana you have remaining... :)

Always good advice. I've used AT&T for so long I don't have anything to compare 
it to, but I can't really complain. Then again, I've had cell service since the 
late 80's/early 90's back when coverage was limited to major metro areas and 
heavily traveled expressways. Compared to those days, anything is great, and I 
don't expect coverage in far-remote
