Does anyone know of a reliable solution to the problem that purchases on iOS
devices won't transfer to iTunes?

It happened on my iPhone and I manually "repurchased" all the apps in iTunes.
Doesn't seem to have returned.

Now its happening on my iPad, as I wish to upgrade it, but there are about 100
apps (and other stuff).

Apart from the amount of time it takes (manually "repurchasing" in iTunes) I am
worried that it won't save data ...

For example, one app not transferring is "GoodReader" and there are lots of
annotated PDFs on the iPad.

Interestingly some apps like Pages it is reporting cannot transfer but Pages is
in iTunes (perhaps older version)?

I've heard of these solutions:

1. Authorize the computer for all accounts (I use a number) - DONE

2. Reauthorize the computer for all account (i.e. deauthorize and authorize) -
any success with this?

3. For jailbroken devices delete the a particular DB that tracks these things
on the device - apparently works.

4. Delete "SC Info" folder which apparently holds iTunes authorisation
information (and then 1. above)

Recommendations? Others?

I'm not sure why Apple has not fixed this? The iPad is not jailbroken but the
only fix seems to suggest I should.

We do have multiple accounts and some for overseas iTunes stores but most of
the apps are from one account.

Any suggestions - real experience and results with this?

Thanks,
Ashley.
