This is always somewhat deep magic, but Sandy Bridge Xeon processors suitable
for use across the Mac Pro lineup are (I believe) not due until late Q3 or Q4
of this year.
Apple has previously gained early access to Intel processors for its machines
to bring them to market before the official launch of the processor, but as I
recall, it wasn't more than about a month ahead of time.
I'd expect machines sometime in the autumn, perhaps as early as late September
- assuming Apple is not on the verge of abandoning the pro market altogether. :P
