I agree, believe it when it is confirmed.

Still I can see Apple using Microsoft and Amazon services for bits of MobileMe, 
ostensibly in areas they are needed, but primarily to learn more about cloud 
service implementation so they can improve their service.

Think Motorola Razr music phone.
